Announcing our Autumn 2018 shows in Italy

Following our sell-out tour in South America, DSLegacy, now with the legendary Trevor Horn on bass, are heading back to Europe to tour Italy’s finest theatres in Milan, Padua, Brescia, Florence, Catania, Bari, Rome, Bologna and others.

Tickets, organized by We4Show, will be on pre-sale on TicketOne.it starting from April 11th, and in stores and regular outletss from April 26th, 2018.

Re-experience the magic of hearing the unforgettable songs of Dire Straits – Money for Nothing, So Far Away, Sultans of Swing, Walk of Life etc –  and hear one or two tracks from the bands new album 3 Chord Trick, (produced by Phil Palmer and Alan Clark, and recorded in Los Angeles at Drumroll and in Italy at Forward Studios Rome, and published by Forward Music Italy.

THE BAND 

With the recent arrival of Trevor Horn, a legend in the music industry and perhaps the most famous producer of his generation, the band now consists of Dire Straits man Alan Clark on keyboards, who on April 14th 2018 was one of the  inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, plus Dire Straits men Danny Cummings (percussions and vocals) and Phil Palmer (guitars/vocals), along with Trevor Horn (bass) and Steve Ferrone (drums), and Italian musicians Marco Caviglia (vocals and guitar) and Primiano DiBiase (keyboards). This line up is sure to make a good noise!

Unfortunately, our sax player Mel Collins can’t make our Italian shows because he’s touring with the amazing king Crimson, who he is an original member of, and who are in the middle of a seemingly endless worlds tour. Replacing him will be a truly world class sax player who’s name will be revealed in good time!

Another music legend joins the band.
We’re delighted to announce our new bass player Trevor Horn

TREVOR HORN: a legend in the music industry.

After forming The Buggles and recording the chart topping 1979 hit “Video Killed the Radio Star”, Trevor went on to produce some of the most recognizable anthems that defined the Eighties, including ABC’s “Lexicon of Love”, “Owner of a Lonely Heart” by Yes, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s number one hits “Relax”, “Two Tribes” and “The Power of Love”. Trevor went on to produce hits for Tina Turner, Tom Jones, Marc Almond, Barry Manilow, Cher, Boyzone, 10cc, Bryan Ferry, John Legend, Lisa Stansfield, Robbie Williams, Grace Jones, Simple Minds and many others. But he started in the music business as a bass player, playing sessions, and that’s what he is returning to now.
