Official announcement DSL Dire Straits Legacy Brazil 2020 Tour
Due to concerns about the coronavirus (COVID 19) and preventive measures adopted by the Governments of the States, the Brazil 2020 tour of the DSL Dire Straits Legacy band, which would begin next Wednesday, March 18 in São Paulo, was postponed to September .
The health and safety of everyone involved in the tour – public, artists and professionals – is a top priority at this time.
Tickets already purchased are valid for new dates. More information about September dates and a refund policy will be released soon for those unable to attend the new dates.
We love Brazil. There’s a song on our 3 Chord Trick album called Two Days Off, which is, strangely enough, about 2 days off. We were in a nice hotel overlooking the sea in Florianoplis, Brazil, and we had an impromptu party on the beach which lasted 2 days. And Alan wrote a song about it. Brazil rocks! We’ll be back!
Our South American tour starts in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on March 29, and we’re playing in Santiago, Chile, and Buenos Aries, Argentina.
