DSL DIRE STRAITS LEGACY CANCELS U.S. SUMMER TOUR 2021
LAS VEGAS – After 18 months of being forced to the sidelines by the COVID-19 pandemic, DSL Dire Straits Legacy was excited to announce seven new U.S. tour dates that would have begun in Syracuse, New York on August 24.
Unfortunately for the band and their fans, the band today announced the cancelation of all its 2021 U.S. dates due to travel restrictions resulting from the Covid-19 virus.
“As the majority of the band live in the UK and Europe, we found it extremely difficult to clear the red tape that would have allowed us to return to the U.S. and perform the Dire Straits music we all so dearly love. We are extremely disappointed and saddened by this unfortunate turn of events.” said the band in a statement. “We certainly plan to do our best to tour the U.S. in 2022.”
